Footage shot at Lilydale poultry slaughterhouse in Abbotsford, BC shows turkeys being live-hung, upside-down by their feet. Injuries from live-hanging include fractured hips and legs, hip dislocation, detached femurs and hemorrhaging. Because 2 stacked suspensory railings are used, cut-off turkey legs from the upper railing continually fall on the still-live but upside-down turkeys below.
