This psychological indie thriller is a personal exploration of the damage war inflicts upon us and the limitations of redemption. While Ben was serving his country in the Iraqi war, his wife left him for another man, taking their daughters with her. Left without his family and with a body filled with shrapnel from a mine explosion, Ben is forced to move back to Queens with his parents, traumatized and in constant pain. While attending a Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder support group at a V.A. clinic in New York, he meets Nick Jones, an aspiring filmmaker who is documenting Ben's PTSD group. When Ben invites Nick to come and film away from the constraints of the support group, a wary but ultimately tender friendship evolves between these two very different men. An IFC release.
