This is a theme song from the Legend Of The Seeker series (but as far as I can remember, only for trailer, that was on SyFy channel) I don't remember hearing this theme in the series... Its a lovely melody however, and if anyone knows who composer is, Id love to hear more of his work. This is me on keyboards, Oberheim MC3000. Hey guys! So I randomly came across this song awhile ago and at the time I didn't have any other ideas for a LOTS video, so I thought I'd use it. Basically it's from Richard's point of view about his relationship with Kahlan. I'm not sure I was intending for this to be a tribute to the Denna episode, but I guess since all the clips in this video are from that one, it kind of is :) The video/song shows how Richard thought he and Kahlan were finally getting close to having some sort of a future together, but, well, you guys know the rest :) I hope you all like it! PLEASE READ... I tried uploading this before and I couldn't find it on youtube which was wierd then I uploaded it again but the quality was so bad so I tried rendering it to HD1080p but it didnt work so then I did it on WMM and now its got some of the clips with borders around it so Im sorry about that. But Im all sorted now because I now have Sony Vegas Pro 9 so Im gonna be having a lot of fun with that=D...This is my first video of this type ever, as in first LOTS video and first time using clips instead of pictures!!! My video is sort of different compared to other videos out there, different as in the story is in the fast parts of the songs like at 0.24 and in the instrumental. The other part of of the song is basically me trying to fit the clips to match the lyrics and hopefully that worked... The storyline is basically from Richard's POV of how him and Kahlan share feelings for each other and although she tries to deny it he knows that it's there. Kahlan is distancing herself from Richard because she nearly accidentally uses her powers (Her gift as the song says) on Richard so she puts the Rada'Han on to protect him because she can't trust herself around him and because she's suppose to protect the seeker. Richard then tries to convince her that she can't hurt him and that it's okay to share feelings for him. After she thinks about all the things that they had been through leading up to where they are now (in the instrumental) her small resistance she gives up and takes off the Rada'Han and lets him know how she feels and then they kiss and happy ending...lol I tried to make it that the part in the song where it says "Fight on for you" making it look like Richard is fighting for Kahlan not only trying to protect her life but fighting to get her to open up. The song "Gifts and Curses" is about Kahlan's power. From Richard's POV she's the gift that was given to him but her power is sometimes the curse that's keeping them apart. BTW the timing may be a bit off sometimes which is really annoying!!! Sorry;( Anyways hope you like it!! I know the storyline can be quite confusing and probably pointless but meh, I'll improve. Sorry, I'm tired & I still have to translate one of the most boring texts every written by Cicero -.- Uhm, the concept is very similar to my "Time of Dying" video, but in this case I made a cast one (main characters only) instead of an ensemble. This too is about their sufferings & struggles but on a much narrower scale. The first part mainly focuses on Richard & how his naming affects all those around him [sort of like the infamous "pebble in the pond"]. The second is very much about how Richard interacts with his closest friends (Kahlan & Cara, too - who will be one of the major characters in s2 & *is* a huge one in the SoT books; there is little Zedd, sorry.
